On an asignment, I took the time to complete this series as a exploration of the working middle class. The challenging hours committed to by these folks. With long days and deadlines builds a strange comradier.
This was shot on location using a tintype effect that helped document the harshness and recalled an experience timelessness.. perhaps a dream.. and these folks were experiencing the “American Dream” to build something, provide for their families, and always in pursuit.
The company chose a final image to celebrate their accomplishment of a Million safe hours worked.
